My Lil Sailor!!

Below is a slide show of Maletch in his little outfit. I will be posting many more photos of our little Sailor Boy over the next few days. Everyone went crazy over him in his outfit and people had the funniest comments and questions, one guy asked "did he jump ship?" One asked me if his daddy was in the Navy... everyone had something to say, it was funny!

Oh and FYI: Don't forget to keep scrolling all the way down to see all the new posts, more slideshows, and VIDEOS too!

Just Playing Around with Adding Videos BELOW...

It is very hard to upload video footage to blogs because there are so many restrictions as to size and format. The easiest way is to use short clips from a digital camera. A few problems with that are that it is hard to get good quality footage with that type of camera, AND when you limit the taping to short segments in order to keep the size small, you don't necessarily capture the perfect moments since kids are unpredictable- HaHa! It seems the good stuff happens just before or after I start taping. I wish I could just video-tape for as long as I want and then take out the segments I want to use for the blog (the way you would make any home-video and edit it down), but I can't find a fast and easy way to do that in this format! So I am only running the tape for a few seconds-up to-one minute and then stopping and what I get- is- what I get on tape!!
So until I find a better way, the quality and footage are not the best, but I thought you would enjoy seeing Maletch in action for a nice change from boring still photos- especially for our friends and family that don't get to see him often!

Below are 2 Videos: Just a reminder that you might want to pause the music on the player (at the bottom of my blog) as the videos do have sound and the noise and music will be "battling." There is a large pause button at the top of the player, the same button will resume the music when you are ready.

The First Video is a short clip of him busy playing.

The Second Video is a short clip of him dancing- well, sort of- of course I missed the good stuff! In this clip he is really holding back and this is NOT how he normally dances. I will work on getting footage for the blog of him really "Gettin' Down" cuz ya really got to see that!

Why is Nobody Else Dancing???

Here we are at one of our regular hangouts "Jamba Juice." I have an addiction to their smoothies "Mango-A-Go-Go" is my favorite right now and it's Maletch's favorite too. I had plenty of them during my pregnancy. Well, I used to just share mine with him, but he gobbles down way too much, HAHA- it's funny cuz I was always saying, "Hey, mommy wants some too!" I quickly learned that I have to buy him his own now!

They have a nice patio outside with a cool fountain and they play great music over the speakers outdoors. Funny thing, last time he and I were out chillin on the patio, a good song came on and I look over to see him "gettin down!" He was dancing and it was so cute cuz he was so "into it", until all of a sudden he looked at me and took a "quick scan" and was like, "Hey how come nobody else is dancing?" I saw the look on his face, so I immediately started dancing with him, but he was really bothered that nobody else was doing it.
And for some reason, he is also that way about clapping, if clapping is appropriate, then he feels everybody should be clapping, and he gets bothered when somebody isn't doing it, LOL!

He decided to walk up and meet this little boy, Max who was really cute. Max's mom gave Maletch some pizza. Maletch was very happy to receive the pizza, but then he didn't like it so he threw it on the ground!

I happened to snap this photo right when he realized that nobody else was dancing! :) You might not be able to tell from this still photo, but he was dancing when I took this, and then he suddenly stopped and you can see the look on his face.

We actually have quite a bit of good footage of Maletch "bustin' a move." Problem is that it is on our regular video camera and tapes and it is way too time consuming and difficult to condense and adapt that video to be able to post it on the blog.... so just for fun- I threw on the video below which is from my digital camera. It is not the best quality nor does it really capture how he normally dances, but I thought you might enjoy seeing a short clip of Maletch "sort of dancing but rather holding back." I will try to get some better footage of him "REALLY Gettin Down" and post it soon!

A Little BIT of Dancing.... VIDEO!!
